Half Grey
 
  In worlds other than Toril the grey elves are reclusive, aloof and disdain humans, and the half-grey elves have problems similar to the half-drow.  They are not accepted by grey elves.  They half-grey is not even allowed within the confines of the grey elven cities.  Usually the half-grey elves find solace in human settlements, but some create cities of their own or become gypsies or traveling merchants.  They have also been found as mercenaries and rangers.
Their skin tone is similar to their elven parent, being darker than the standard half-elf.  Their eyes are often grey or brown with an occasional blue.  Their hair is typically fine and light brown to blonde. They are less easy to spot than many other half-elves, for the hair and eyes of grey elves are often close to human standards. The hair and eyes of these half-elves are of a lighter tinge than many humans, but aside from the pointed ears, these half-elves can be confused as smaller humans. They are a tall subrace -males are 5 1/2 to 6 ft. Their elven type build means they are slightly lighter than humans at between 100 - 140 lbs. The females are significantly shorter and lighter - 10 inches shorter and 15 lbs lighter.  

Half-grey elves have a much longer life span than humans. They reach adulthood at around age 19 but are not middle aged till in their late 70s. A woman of 115 is old, but only those over 150 are considered to be venerable elders.
