*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Dirty Druid Trick #4 - Vines, vines everywhere... *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Dirty Druid Trick #5 - Gone Clubbin' When you spend points on a short weapon, declare it to be a blunt weapon, like a club, (works for most round 'pixie-stick' style weapons but not for flat blades) that way you can cast Shillelagh on them making them single handed red weapons. This usually only works though if you take no other spells, as it is effectively dispelled when you start casting oter magic. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Here is another little trick that I personally use, and it has made me one of the biggest targets on the battlefield. Entangle, its not just for stopping the big nasty warriors from charging you down. It can also be used to save a team-mate that is about to be overwhelmed. Team healer about to get moshed? Just hit them with a tangle ball, and >poof< they have 300 seconds of immunity, and you suddenly get a HUGE bullseye painted on your forehead. Also, on the occasion you DO manage to tangle an enemy fighter, get your own fighters to surround them then cancel the entangle! (can you say chunky salsa?) *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Dirty Druid Trick #2 - Weapon Destruction Something to keep the lower level Druids out there out of trouble, and for the high level Druids to remember as well. When in a class-battle, especially if facing alot of Barbarians or warriors that are using Pole arms (NOTE: for the purpose of this article, Pole-arms DO NOT include staffs, or spears, but things such as Glaives, Halberds, Naginatas, or even the very nasty Madu. ) Put points into Heat Weapon and Warp Wood. Then when you (and hopefully a fighter on your team) run up against that nasty Pole-wielding barbarian or warrior, you can destroy it using either spell. Now, you may ask, "How can that be?" It is simple, Pole-arm class weapons are both wood (the shaft) and metal (the blade or stiking surface). Destroying either section destroys the weapon. In the case of the Madu (a shorter pole-arm usually about 5' total length atached to a shield up to medium sized.) this renders the entire Madu, pole & shield, unusable. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Dirty Druid Trick #3 - Gone, without a trace ***DISCLAIMER*** While this trick can be fun to do, I will NOT be held responsible for any repercussions that should come if anyone should actually use it. It is nasty and can tend to really piss people off . ***END DISCLAIMER*** This trick can be rather fun to do, but as I said, use it at your own risk. It is also best performed during a Court event, in place of an assassination. It requires 2 spells, and a slight bit of preperation. The lowest level it would take would be 5th level, as it requires the 'Flesh-to-Stone' spell. First, cast Paralyzation on yourself. This will make it so that the next person you touch suffers the effects of a subdual blow (Remember, this does NOT work on barbarians!!). Then get your target off away from everyone else. Once the two of you are alone, touch them someplace on the torso that they don't have armor thereby paralyzing them making them unable to do anything for 150 seconds. Then as they watch, helpless, charge a Petrify bolt (Flesh-to-Stone spell) and toss it gently at them thereby turning them to stone. Remember, and remind them, that because they have been turned to stone, they are not dead so their spirit may not be summoned, nor may they be ressurected. Also, it will take a Stone-to-Flesh spell or a Heal spell to alter them (heal changes the effect to that of an Entangle), otherwise they are permanently stone. Then comes the nasty part. You bury them. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
