Welcome to Alona's Award Template Webpage. I firmly belive that each and every award should be unique, a hand drawn piece of art unto itself. That being said, one thing I've noticed in Amtgard is that sometimes groups are unable, if through lack of availabilty, or lack of skill, been able to create high quality awards. Sometimes creating awards by hand is simply not possible. This is by no means a universal problem, but more to the smaller groups with little communication with the outside Amtgard world. This site is not to insult, nor to replace existing awards. The awards therein are intended to be as ideas, or, in the most dire of needs, as easily printable out awards. I designed these awards with the intention of submitting them to my group, and while doing so, left the heraldry shield blank, as well as the group's name, so other groups may use them if they are without abilty to create their own. Please, feel free to use these awards as you please, though if you could drop me a line in my guestbook, I am interested in seeing what help I've provided to Amtgard. | |||

To modify the images, simply open the file in a raster image editing program (like Paint, or Paint Shop Pro, or Adobe Photoshop) or in a vector image editing program (like Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw or Inkspace FREE!) and add in your own group's heraldry and text as needed. Or, write in text by hand. And..uh draw in some heraldry. Yeah. I've also provided a Word document included with each with easily filled-in text boxes (might need to fiddle around to get those perfect), as well as the original Adobe Illustrator file inside each .zip file. (Needs to be extracted). I recomend printing these awards out onto parchment, vellum, or at least heavy cardstock. Note: So far only awards in the Burning Lands Corpora are completed. If you would like to see a Hellrider or a Crimson, I'll make them. Drop me a line here. The font used for most of the text is Christmas Carol. |
